Accelevents is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to build upon our exponential growth in a rapidly evolving industry that is changing at the speed of light.  As the marketplace continues to demand innovative solutions to host virtual and hybrid events, this role has an opportunity to disrupt convention and create a defined pathway towards growth and revenue acceleration. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Growth, you will have an opportunity to accelerate our growth flywheel through a mix of creativity, technology, and analytics. This high profile, high impact position will play an essential role in driving the organization’s growth by creating awareness and demand for our event technology solution.

The Director of Demand Generation is expected to:

  • Architect and execute demand generation and growth-focused initiatives that drive sustainable top of funnel and middle of funnel qualified prospects.
  • Develop integrated, omnichannel paid and organic strategic programs that create awareness and materially increase overall opportunities pipeline in conjunction with sales goals.
  • Work within our marketing stack (Hubspot) to set up and implement persona-based communication sequences, source attribution, nurturing, and user journey lead scoring.
  • Utilize the current content library and create new assets for strategic, targeted campaigns.
  • Use data to analyze campaign outcomes against KPIs such as cost per click, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, goal conversions, and revenue attribution.
  • Construct reports and dashboards that track performance against goals.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automations to increase conversion rates at every stage of the funnel.
  • Enhance operational processes to streamline procedures and measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend.
  • Partner closely with other leaders on the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to develop and promote marketing materials to drive awareness and interest and measure the results of those initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage demand generation budget including tools, campaign spend, and agency relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in demand generation, growth or user acquisition roles at a B2B SaaS company
  • Consistent track record of success delivering qualified leads, buyer engagement, and pipeline
  • Data-driven approach, with experience developing a KPI framework, optimizing metrics, and tracking performance against growth goals
  • Solid understanding of the full marketing stack including lead-scoring, segmentation, revenue attribution, influence, and ROI
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, digital technologies including marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using HubSpot (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a remote environment with a global team, preferably in a startup
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, needing minimal guidance to come up with creative solutions to problems
